The problem
Movie nights often fall apart before they start. Everyone has different tastes, no one wants to pick, and the decision process drags on long enough to ruin the mood. Existing apps like Netflix don't address the social dynamic of watching together. They're built for individual viewing.
Nextflix bridges that gap. It's a social layer on top of streaming where users connect with friends, get personalized recommendations based on what the group actually likes, and get guided to a decision everyone can live with.
Onboarding
New users set up their taste profile by ranking genres and titles before seeing any recommendations — so the app knows what they actually want from day one.
The app
The home screen surfaces movie and TV recommendations. The schedule tab lets friend groups lock in a watch night, create new events, and and invite attendees, all without leaving the app.
